The Creator Economy is GROWING

There has never been a better time to start creating and building a business in the creator economy. Whether that is a 1 person operation, you sell physical products, or you are scaling for a bigger operation it all comes down to your systems and how you master those systems.

But how do you make your mark in this crowded and dynamic marketplace? There's no one-size-fits-all solution, yet there are actionable steps you can take not to ensure you long-term success.

Establishing Your Niche

As a creator, identifying and owning your niche is essential. Your niche isn't just the topic you choose to focus on; it is what you are specifically skilled in and the problems you have solved for yourself before offering to solve them for others.

- Start by assessing your strengths, passions, and the types of content you enjoy making.
-Then research to know if there is a real demand for your niche (use google analytics, social media tools on the back end are all free and you can see who is posting what / how those posts are doing)
Remember, the narrower your niche, the deeper the connection you can build with your audience so don’t be afraid to go super narrow at first. As you build a scale out you can widen this reach once you have established an audience.

If You are not consistent you may as well not start

Quality trumps quantity, but consistency amplifies your voice above the noise. As a creator, your content is your product, and maintaining a high standard is the most important thing.

Prioritize creating content that adds value to your audience's life, whether it's through education, inspiration, or entertainment. You do not have to change the game or come up with something brand new but you do have to deliver your message in a clear concise way every single time.

The best thing to do here is to develop a system for creating content (you can find a link to this at the end of the article) and master that system for continued production
1. Create an article
2. Chop that article into 10 social media posts
3. Put those posts into a content tool like Hypefury
4. Repeat the process as you build out your content library

The longer you do this the more you build and the less you have to do long-term.

How to start earning from your craft?

"Make your passion pay you." Monetizing your content can come in many forms, and diversifying your revenue streams is crucial.
Consider direct monetization methods like
- sponsorships
-merchandise
-memberships
-or digital products that align with your brand.

1. Choose 1 monetization method first (only 1)
2. Set that 1 method up in your content (links in blog, articles, newsletter, social posts)
3. Double check your processes for this 1 method
4. Start a 2nd method only after you have mastered the first method

Tip: if you try to monetize everything everywhere at once you will fail at all of them. I failed at monetization for the first 13 months before I took a step back and did it 1 piece at a time.
